I have two tables, A and B. These tables are similar from a data content persepctive. Table A contains order information that is pending, while Table B contains completed order information. I need to report on the combined information.

Is it possible to combine A/B records and to then display (and calc on) combined detail records....or must I create a subreport and then combine like variable "whleprinting"?

Thanks

Join the completed order information to the other table by ordernumber (typically).

Don't think that I explained clearly, if I link Tables A & B, how will I then write the query to pull in records from both tables?

My record query looks like the following:

{TLedger.Institution} = {?Institution} and
{TLedger.ControlCode} = 'T' and
{TLedger.StatusCode} = ["A", "B"]

If TLedger is table A and I link it to MLedger or table B, then how would my query ensure that I am getting MLedger data and then display it properly. For example, TLedger.TransactionNumber is a different field to display than MLedger.TransactionNumber.

Thanks much!
