I currently have a Microsoft Wireless "G" router with broadband set up at home. All of my bedrooms are wired for ethernet which is also hooked to the router. My office currently has two computers that sometimes I would like both to be wired.

What steps do I need to perform to add a second wired ethernet router in that room to expand the one connection that I currently have.

Should I stick with the same manufacturer that I currently use? Thanks.

Just add an inexpensive switch. Go from the uplink port of your existing router to any normal LAN port on the switch.
