Two "companies" on one system.

Hi,

I have a Partner R3.0 system with a 5 slot carrier and a few expansion cards. I have the 2 port VM PC Card installed, as well as a remote-access card.

Here's my situation. I need for two independent companies to be able to use the system. Here's how I envision it working...

Line 1: Company 1 - Rings to Extensions 10-14
Line 2: Company 1 - Rings to Extensions 10-14

Line 3: Company 2 - Rings to Ex 10-22 - AutoAttendant
Line 4: Company 2 - Rings to Ex 10-22 - AutoAttendant
Line 5: Company 2 - Rings to Ex 10-22 - AutoAttendant
Line 6: Company 2 - Rings to Ex 10-22 - AutoAttendant

Any thoughts on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

setup line 1 and 2 to ring directly on exts. 10-14. setup the attendant in your voicemail and then give lines 3-6 voicemail coverage. then make the attendant options route to the extensions you need them to.

Do they share the same operator?

If I call either company and zero out, i would be transfered to the operator, EXT 10. Who will be using ext 10, company A or B?

Ummm. I guess I haven't thought of that.

Ext. 10 would probably be a Company 1 phone.
