TWO QUICK QUESTIONS :)

hey.i just have two questions to ask..

im deploying an ipt solution for my customer. the phones being used are 7912g. the question is why does the phone not offer the mwi setting?..it says its not available.(sorry, first time im working with these phones)..

second question- ipcc auto attendant. i customized an auto attendant for each site.(10 total). now, they need to have different prompts for different times of the day and public holidays. how can i customise it so after 430 it gives a different prompt automatically, and on public holidays as well.

Not too familiar with the 7912's, but what MWI setting are you referring to exactly (something in the CCMAdmin)?

Anyone else help out on IPCC (we don't use it)?

yeah the message waiting indicator is on the ccmadmin...it says feature not available...i just finished the config on the unity and the MWI works...so i suppose it just does offer what type of prompts you might want on the device..the light is good enough so thats more or less solved..

the ipcc express question is still up for grabs..hehe...i have everything working with the ipcc auto attendant but that scheduling one got me..ill check it out...

You would need IPCC Express to do this as it would need some 'if' condition tests in the script to determine which prompt to play. I believe IPCC Express/CRS is included with Callmanager 4.0 now.

well, im using ipcc express as the auto attendant..the issue is im somewhat not familiar with this scripting thing. also, another thing has popped up...im using g729 and the prompts are g711..for my custom prompts i just CANT record it like normal..whats the normal practise..or what sound recording software will contain the 729 codec?
