Two Questions.... 4

Hi all,

I have two questions I believe are handled through CSS, but let's see.

1) How does a scroll bar on the page take on a different color?


2) Some web sites appear with a custom icon in the address bar. How??

1. As far as I know the scrollbar is a browser construct, so the browser determines how it's rendered

2. It's called a favicon - do a search on this forum, or Google for it

You can use Javascript to change scroll bar colours but only in IE (and maybe not in IE7).

scrollbar colors can be set using CSS, but I don't believe you'll get any sort of standard acceptance across browsers. a google search yielded plenty of results.
