Hi all
Couple of things. First, why does my DHCP server (runnning on my main PDC)not release IP's all the time? It seems like I have multiple IP's assigned to the same systems simply because they are not released when machines are put on or taken off the network. Any ideas?
Second...I'm upgrading to 2003 and will do the upgrade form my (newly configured) BDC. I will promote the BDC to a PDDC and then do the upgrade. If something should go wrong during installation...can I simply shutdown the 2003 box and bring back up my old PDC without any issues? Keep in mind it will be shutdown before I promote the new BDC to a PDC and upgrade to 2003.
