I have two major problems with Access following (I assume) some updates download from Windows Updates.
1. Linked tables - In the linked table manager I see no tables. On some machines with Windows 2000 I cannot link new tables with Access 2000 or XP/2003 - Access exits with an error, however In Access 97 I can link tables with no problems and so with Windows XP.
2. Connection with MySQL through Visual C++: I have some access databases containing linked (through MyODBC) MySQL tables. When I get data through Access, I have no problem, but through C programs using the Access ODBC connector, I sometimes get a problem with openning recordsets and sometimes not.
What update fucked my systems up? How can I remove or fix it?
