Legend 4.1 V1.2, is it possible to program one extension for two physical phones on different cables. On person has two offices and would like to have the same extension, not a forward/cover, but both ring at the same time, and same voice mail. Thanks!

Are they in the same phone system? If so, you can have an analog extension looped on your main distribution field to both locations. Or, if you need digital sets at both locations, put a new extension at point B and add the apearances for the original extension onto the new extension.

They are both on the same system, same enclosure. Both set's already exist, both w/ different Ext. numbers. Both are MLX-10DP set's. When you say appearance, what exactly do you mean? Still a little new to the feild, another Net Admin charged w/ the phone sys too. Thanks again!

Use Shared System Access buttons on one phone for the other phone. They are still two seperate extensions, but the SSA buttons let you "use" the other extension for making and receiving calls. You still need SA buttons(s) for the second station, but you can customize the buttons by moving the 2nd phone's own SA button to the 2nd column, putting the SSA buttons in the 1st column so it appears just like the main phone, and setting the auto line select to grab those buttons first.
