I have a one page document which I want to print two per sheet, on the left and right hand side of a landscape sheet. Is there any way that I can do this without having to created two identical pages in the document?

I've tried selecting 2 copies and saying 2 pages per sheet, but that just gave me two sheets, each with the page just on the left hand side.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Not as far as I know.

Word prints either selected pages, or the document. If the document is one page...then it is one page.

If you make it landscape, and the one page only fills up the left side - I assume you are doing this as columns - then, that is what it does.

So printing 2 copies, gets two sheets (copies) with the contents on one side...as that is what it is.

"I have a one page document which I want to print two per sheet"

A one-page document is a one page document. Word can not print TWO documents at the same time, on the same sheet. It can print ONE document on whatever number of sheets it takes to print it.

So if you want identical content on the left/right sides of a sheet, then that content will have to actually be there, in the document.

Go to the menu bar, click on "format", then choose "columns" from the dropdown list. There may be options for you there that will work.

Printing multi-pages on a single sheet is generally a printer option.

Poke around in the printer options and finishing settings, there might be something there.

See what happens if you set 2-per page in printer options, and print 2 copies.

Or, cheat:

Print it once, take the prints, put them in the printer the other way and print again.
