Does anyone know how to increase the audio recording space by adding new hard drives? In the Nicelog Installation and Manitenance Manual is mentioned how to add more HDDs but only from h/w point of view. We have Nice Voice Loggers 8.5.
The amount of audio recoding space is controlled by the configuration file, aud-wrk.cfg or something like that. If you modify this file you will receive a checksum error on the logger, the logger still works but you receive an error. So, if you add 1TB it will do you no good unless you change this file. The checksum is just a way for Nice to control upgrades to the loggers.
