On my computer I have Win98, now I have Win2000. But when I start my computer, I got black screen with two options:
to start Win2000 or to start Win98.
I delete from my hard disc folder width Win98 files, but I still have two start up options!
How can I remove start option for Win98?
Help me!

Edit c:\boot.ini and remove the line with the Windows 98 entry...

Hi Mate
First you need to unhide all the system files via tools, folder options,view tab in explorer.
Now go to the C:drive and look for a file called boot.ini.
Make a copy of the original in case you stuff it up and then open the original in notepad, you will see it looks similar to what is below.
"[boot loader]
timeout=20
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microshaft 2000" /fastdetect"

You will have a line there similar to the one above that points to the windows 2000 OS and another that says windows 98, just delete the line that refers to windows 98 and you should be good to go.
Hope that helps :)
