Hi Guys,

Can I install Windows XP on one hard drive and Windows Me on the other hard drive on the same machine ? Has any one done this ? Do you think when i boot up it will show me a menu allowing me to select the operating system.

Thanks
Premal

Yep.. Just make sure ME is installed on c: drive and XP is loaded on the second drive..

When you install XP, it will set up a boot.ini program that will allow you to choose which OS you want to load..

In addition, make sure ME is installed first. Then, boot using the XP CD. During XP's setup, it should detect ME's installation and give you the option to install on a separate partition or drive. That's, of course, when you would want to point the XP installation to your 2nd hard drive.

Also - when you start the XP install make sure that you use FAT32 not NTFS if you want to be able to access the second drive from ME.
