Im stumped, need help, question is in ref to two nics installed on same machine.

Nic1 (static)192.168.1. Gateway 192.168.1.254, hard wired to switch/router…

Nic2:(static) wireless pci card, 172.16.56.2 Gateway 172.16.56.1, network connected to AP via DSL Router..

If both NIC cards are enabled, one connection will not work, they seem to be canceling each other out. If I disable one, doesn’t matter which one, the other will work. Why is this, I have installed two nic in machines before and it has always worked. What am I doing wrong? I know im missing something, but not sure what?

The DSL is for internet, the other is for a financial system connected to t-1.
