Gurus.

I have 2 NICS on windows 2003 server box,and one HOST NAME NS1.

NIC-1 66.x.x.100
NIC-2 66.x.x.109

but everytime if an VPN is initiated, PPP Virtual adapter is created with 192.168.2.11 address.

So now when VPN is created

i have

NIC-1:192.168.2.11
NIC-2:66.x.x.100
NIC-3:66.x.x.109

So after VPN is created HOSTNAME NS1 is pointed to 192.168.2.11

So the domain controller functionality is failed.

How do i bind HOSTNAME TO the PARTICULAR NETWORK ADAPTER.

Please help

Cant you setup a manual entry in your DNS server?

It also may be that once your VPN comes alive the other NIC's are disabled. I know of many VPN setups that do that. I would connect to the vpn, then check the status of the other 2 NIC's.
