Two Nic Question

I have two different subnets running in my organization. One is the primary domain. One is a small bunch of computers. I need to see one of these computers from our domain. I really don't want to install a router if at all possible. Both of these groups have a different subnet. My question is, can I install two nics in the one computer that needs to see both networks? If I go in and set the subnet masks on each one will that computer be able to see both networks?
