E&M cards in both MICS's. Both sides were able to call each other until last Friday. Got onsite to find some programming was messed up on the side that cannot call the other side (Line Pool assigned to Dest Code was Pool A and not Pool O). So I then realized the route assigned to the Dest Code did not have the Dial Out digits it should have (8875). The receive digits on the side that can receive calls is three and the other side is seven. So when I dial the three digit extension, it does get to the other side but the receptionist answers. So I got to thinking if I assign an E&M line to a phone and grab it and dial the seven digits the other side needs to see, it should work. It does not (still get the receptionist). So I think I have the routes/dest codes setup correctly (and Line Pool O is assigned to the E&M trunks). I verified settings with the side that can call the first side and I don't think I missed anything. Am I missing something if I grab and E&M trunk and dial the seven digits that are assigned to a target line and assigned to the phone?

Curly - Yes, all programming on the side that can't be called, is correct. I forgot to ask if they had a power outage or lightning hit that caused the problem. This exact thing happened two years ago, but I got it working. I guess my ultimate question would be, if I press the E&M line and dial the received digits to the other side, it should work (leaving out routes and dest codes).
