I have a 6.1 with Symphony the Mail and the Symphony each have a NAM. I cannot buy keycodes to expand the NAM and I am trying to find out if anyone has ever managed to get another mail to co-exist in this type of system.

The book says "no way" but if it can be done, it will be done here. I have another NAM, and a Call Pilot to work with.

I don't see why not as the second voicemail will take the second set of feature codes. It will be a bit tricky to keep the voicemails seperate if you have a power failure though. It will also be a nightmare for the recp't as she will have to remember who uses Feature 98x and who uses Feature 92x. Make sure you stock up on the vodka before you start.

I think the problem is that since I am using a Nam for Cinphony and another NAM for voice mail both feature code ranges are already used.

The second box would be used to host one mailbox with a dedicated eight channels. The second box does not even have to signal a set for mail.
The box would be an auto answer not actually tied to any set.

You are right on the fact you are using the two ranges already. Sounds like an ATA with an answering machine is what you need if a "box" is to answer with no signalling towards a phone is required. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help.
This was one of those times I hoped I was wrong.
