two important question pleasw eply

the first question :
In my company we were using domino 6.5 as a mail server and we want to upgrade to domino 8.5.2 so i need to move the users ( with their current mail files ) in the first server to the new server .

the second question :

when i delete a user i chose to delete it's mail file but this didn't happen and when i try to delete it manually it responds whith a message that say that the file is in use and its not practical to stop the server every time i delete a user .

I'll answer the second question first - use the Domino Administrator to delete the database; from the Files tab expand the Databases twisty on the right and select Delete.

As for the upgrade, I think as long as you haven't customized the mail template you should be able to copy the databases to the new server, then do design upgrades on them.
