This is a stupid questions but before i go and take this comp apart again i wanted to ask. So..
I got two 250GB western Digital Serial ATA HD and I want to Raid them. But i need to format them first. When i use the WINDOWS S/W to format it shows 400GB HD im not sure whats up with that i dont have a 400GB HD but it's only showing one HD. I have both of them at DEFAULT settings on the Jumpers so im guessing that MASTER or CABLE SELECT. Okay anyways I dont know Jack about this ATA stuff so im wondering do i need to set one to a SLAVE? I have them both hooked up to a ATA connector and they both show up on my RAID program. But im thinking they wont show up after i Raid them because both are not formatted just one.
So someone let me know AIM me if you can KILLBUZZDOTCOM is the AIM NAME.
