Hello Gang,
Tonight I was at a new customer setting up their new S8500 and two G650 cabinets. What was supposed to be a simple install turned out a nightmare...
I accidentally set both cabinets to carrier A and fired the S8500 up only to find out the circuit packs were registering incorrect.
After fixing my mistake, CM continues to mix up circuit packs from A and B, shows them absent while their not ect or shows them conflicting. Over time , CHANGE CIRCUIT-PACKS will show different views. Sometimes 01A02 is correctly identified as a TN771 Maintenance board while some time it is shown as a 24P DCP pack. 01B02 contains this pack.
Restoring a backup + translations from before my mistake will not correct this, neither does a reboot. Circuit packs work fine in another bench Definity.
I'm quite lost as this system needs to be up and running next Monday... Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated!
