On a star talk vm you only have 1 greeting table. What you could do is set one company up under the aa and then set the other company up under a mailbox. On the Mailbox (company) you could tell the people to dial * in front of the extension number. The star allows them to come out of the Voicemail box and dial another extension number. This process will work, but the best thing would be to upgrade there phone system and Voice mail.
If they dial zero out of the voice mail it will follow the attendant set and then go into the other companies Greeting.
But this is about the only way it will work. Good Luck
wichie13, there are 4 greeting tables on that old 385 StarTalk. The issue of using a table for a separate business is that the operator station is shared by both. You could however use 'answer dn' keys for the operator on another set and name the lines for identification.
HOWEVER, I agree with norstargirl, upgrade the entire system if at all possible. The 385 may just crash under the load! ;-)
Good luck!
