Hi All.

Is it possible to send messages from two different extensions to one mailbox?

For example, a person calls extension 1234, there is no answer so it gets forwarded to extension 2345. There is no answer there and I would like to leave a message in the first extension (1234)'s mailbox.

If so, how is this done.

Regards

Does 2345 need its own mailbox too or no mailbox?.

If this is a CS1k w/CallPilot, simply make 2345 an extension DN of mailbox 1234.

If what you are talking about is a double callforward situation, most Nortel Callpilot's, Merdian Mails, Octels, support this with out doing anything. So a person calls extension 1234, there is no answer so it gets forwarded to extension 2345. There is no answer there it goes back to voicemail (if programed that way) and answers with the originating calls mailbox.

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!
