I have an exchange 2000 server in a Windows 2000 domain. I would like to install a second Exchange 2000 server into this domain, not as a cluster, but just as another exchange server that links to all the users. Is it possible to install two stand-alone Exchange servers in a single domain?

Thanks

You can have the second exchange server be part of the same site and not part of the cluster. It would serve any users you pointed to it and them only.

You can also have 2 exchange organizations in the same domain. you would have use the outlook profile wich org to log into.

as for install, you just install the exchange server normaly and select your options - new org or join one.

good luck
Matt

You can only have one organization in the forest!!! just give each server its own storage group(s) and recipients.
