Hi,
Solaris 8 & 9 on SUN v250 and v240's.
Quantum DLT7000, desktop enclosure version, not rack mountable.
Is there a limit to how many DTL7000's can be placed on the same SCSI bus?
I'm using the internal SCSI connection that came on the servers.
When I connect two together (using different SCSI ID's), they won't get recognized at all.
When I try each of them single or connected with a DDS3 drive, the DLT7000 works just fine as does the DDS3.
I looked online and saw mention in other forums of a limit of one per bus, but nothing "official".
Anyone know of the limit and an "official" statement or link from a hardware vendor about it?
Thanx
DrD
Good Luck
