Hi,
The application that I have to use to access for my job site uses version 5, update 15. I've called the support desk for the site and they said that so far it will not work with version six.

Is there a way for me download the newest version of java and only use the older version for specific work website?

I know that when I update, the older version of java always remains, but I'm not sure if I can access it or not.

Thanks

I'm guess it's an applet. It's an application for CSX Railroad which is a secure site that requires a password. It's A little box pops up in the bottom left corner until the application comes up that allows to me to view my job status.

Why wouldn't I visit your homepage stefanwangner?

The only way I can think about is using different browsers for each application ...

Cheers,
Dian

Diancecht is right.
Each browser may have a different Java Runtime (JRE).
