Please help.

We have an existing Exchange 2003 server called EXISTMAIL.
We just built a new Exchange 2003 server called NEWMAIL.
Servers are in the same subnet on a Windows Server 2003 platform. We are able to move a mailbox from EXISTMAIL to NEWMAIL and vise-versa using Exchange Tasks in Active Directory.

A mailbox in NEWMAIL can send email to EXISTMAIL while EXISTMAIL mailbox cannot send or reply email to NEWMAIL mailbox. NEWMAIL mailbox cannot send email out to the Internet. EXISTMAIL mailbox can send email to all except NEWMAIL mailbox.

Please let me know what I am missing.

Thank you.

Your internal connectors are not set up correctly or do not exist. Your bridgehead is ok, but you need to get emails routed internally now.
