I have to sites with a VPN tunnel between them and VOIP trunk licenses on both systems. Site A has 200 and 300 series extension numbers and site B has 400 series extension numbers. To do three digit dialing between the two what do I have to do? Program a Desti code of 4 and any in site A and a Desti code of 2 and 3 and any in site B? I know the VOIP trunks are in Bloc C. What about target lines?

Program each sites sets with private recived and a dest code with the lead digit or the other sites extension and the remote gateway with the same. It also would help to have MCDN licences.

Thanks guys. Do you have something a little more specific you can send me? Played with it today to no avail. Not sure what I'm missing.

The first couple of times doing this can be kinda tricky, if your not sure what you are doing I'd recommend getting yourself a trained technician. But the basics are just making sure that you have the proper key codes in each system, set up dest codes, set up routes, set up target lines, make sure that your ip trunks are programmed into pools and each set has access to it, set up your ip route as well with the other BCM's ip etc. Off the top of my head these are the main settings that you need to have to make this work. Also make sure that you use BCM monitor to see what is going on with your ip trunks.

If you've neverf done it before, I suggest the first thing you do is go into the BCM's documentation and read the BCM Networking Guide you'll find there. It explains things fairly well and should get you started. If you run into trouble, you can come back in here and get specific help.

It sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is. Give it a shot. You might surprise yourself.
