Is it possible to connect two ASCII Terminal such;

Terminal+Router --(IP Network)-- Router+Terminal

Terminals are connnected via ASYNC Serial line.

And if so, how do you configure routers such that; Terminals can talk to each other through a TERMINAL EMULATION Program such as HYPERTERMINAL.

Yes it can be done, just did it, after surfing the Cisco Web site for the last 4 days!!

This is the only web page on the Cisco Site.

or search for "How to Tunnel Async Data"

It assumes that you know a lot about configuring Cisco Routers, as you have to fill in the blanks in some cases.

Cheers.
