Two 1616 phones continue to reset 1

Hi Team,

I have two 1616 phones that continue to reset. I've moved them to different ports with same issue. Could this be a firmware problem?
 
Yes, known firmware issue. Fixed in 8.1.69.

If you clear the phone, that will also fix the problem until your IPO reboots.
 
There is new firmware for this included in 8.1.69 and 8.1.73
I had the same with a couple of phones with a BM32 attached to it.

I've had a similar issue with 1608's on release 8.1.67, 8.1.69, 8.1.73 with a customer. They had 6 1608's on their network, and they would reboot every 5-10 minutes or so. This has happened with 2 separate customers. Tried replacing the switch, cabling, clearing and resetting the phones, the power supply, static ip or DHCP, connected them via POE or the local power supply. I didn't feel like learning how to wireshark and send packet traces so after replacing the 1608 with a 9608 and the 9608 never rebooted once ever... Bring the same 1608 phone on my in house network and the phone was fine....?!?!? I don't trust the 16xx series after this.
 
But did you upgrade those phones to the new firmware?
There is a bug where certain switches even cause these reboots.
You really need the latest firmware.

I saw 8.1.73 had new firmware which the 1608's updated with, still had the exact same problem. I believe in the 9.0 release the 1608 firmware version is even newer?
 
8.1.73 and 9.0 do have the same firmware.

Hey Team,

I had the same issue yesterday with 1603s, took out 50% of a High school. Downloaded new firmware and haven't received a phone call yet.
