I am trying to add a Twitter feed module to my site, however I can't seem to find a great mod/extension to work properly.

I did, however, get a Twitter feed to work for about a month. It was iNow Twitter Widget. For about a month it worked great, but suddenly every now and then when I came back to the site you could not see any feed. You could see the module position still there with the header/title but there was no feeds.

I later found out that the iNow Twitter Widget was taken down by the developers. So I began installing new widgets that would do the same. However, no feed is displayed on my site after launching the mod. You can see the title where the module is positioned at but you can't see anything else.

I have switched the setting from javascript to HTML and when you view the site, you get a continuous text line of the feeds. Therefore, telling me that the extension works to a degree.

Is this a JAVASCRIPT issue?

I went as far as even grabbing the HTML code from the Twitter site to post it on a website. I turned of the WYSIWYG program in the global settings so that I could post the HTML code, but it's still not working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I will tell you I switched from Joomla to WordPress due to Joomla stripping custom HTML/JavaScripting.

What version of Joomla are you using?

I hear that Joomla 2.5 has greatly improved the ability to post HTML/JavaScripting without getting it stripped out.
