Twinning

Having a problem with getting the orignial caller's ID to appear on the twinned phone. It just shows up with our company's phone number. I have the option checked under system in manager so that isn't it. Any ideas? Also does anyone know how to get twinning to work when a user isn't logged into a phone. I have read documentation that it is supposed to work. Thanks.

I'd guess that this feature will only work if you have a PRI.

The caller ID pass on will only work if this feature is supported by the telco. It is not avaialble in the UK but is posible in the US & posibly elsewhere.

& yes ISDN is req.

Feature of the ISDN Provider called "clip no screening" is needed for this.

Hello, if the provider set the feauture clip no screening. You have to have an explicit route for your incomming call to the extension. If you forward the digits in incomming calls with # the pbx isn´t able to bring over the incomming number to the twinning partner. so test it, if your are able to see the number by an explicit call route.
