Twinning to cell from internal caller 1

If an inter extension user calls an extension that is twinned to a cell what should the cell phone twinned to see as the CID?

Should the cell user see the internal 4 digits extension of the caller, the main office number, the DID number?

Right now the cell is showing the twinned users extensions DID number do they didn't know who inside is calling them.

I do have SEND ORIGINAL CALLING PARTY ID ticked.

Sending the internal callers DID is about as good as you'll get. It's at least possible to call the person back directly as opposed to if the main office number was sent.

If you try to send their 4 digit extension as the calling party number, your telco will almost certainly reject the calls. They used to let it slip through in the past, but with the ongoing battle against spam calls they've really clamped down on what gets sent out from PBXs.

By deleting the short code with the did number inserted into it when a twin call is sent from someone who calls internally the cell phone user will see the internal 10 digit did ID number.

If the cell phone user starts to store those did ID numbers in their cell directory they'll come up as an internal call if they show it listed as the office extension number
