is it a licensed function ?

how does it function ?

tahnks

Mobile twinning? If so yes it is licenced. It's configured in manager on a per user basis, On a 5410 for example you give them a twinning button and it toggles between ringing the handset, handset and mobile etc. If you are on a twinned call on your mobile you can walk up to your handset and press the twinning button to continue the call uniterrupted on that handset which is quite good!!

i didnt know you could do that, just tested it, very cool

yes it is clea but I want Know how does it function witch mobile or cell phone.

ok its a license for each instance of twinning you want, i.e. 2 users twinned, 2 licenses.

in the user form select mobile twinning, add the details i.e. monbile number time profile etc. set the ring delay to whatever you want, (even at 0 there will be a ring on the extn before the mobile kicks in)

when you call it, one ring (or whatever you set) non the extn, then the mobile will begin to ring, answer which one you want.

then put a key on the handset for turning twinning on and off, setting the twinning number and switching calls back to the extn if answered on the mobile.

presto

When your office phone rings so does your mobile and you can answer from either, depending on your line providor it shows the CLI of the original caller if this is not supported it shows your office number. Outgoing calls from the mobile/cell remain the same and nothing to do with twinning.

Remember that while Mobile Twinning will work on analog trunks it will NOT ring both simultaneously. With analog lines it will stop ringing your desk phone once it starts ringing your mobile. You can still pull the call back using the Twinning button on your phone in either case. With T1/PRI or SIP you have simultaneous ringing.

Also keep in mind that it uses 2 trunks... one on the inbound call..and one on the outbound twinned call. if someone is short on capacity... it can eat up some lines.
