Is there a simple method to making an auto play, cross fade slide show just using layers, motion tween and alpha? (not using actions script)

Thanks
bch

It is significantly easier to accomplish this (with much smaller file sizes) with actionscript.

It can be done just as you say with layers, motion tween, and alpha, but you will have to do each one individually.

IMHO: If you rule out actionscript you don't have many "simple" options.

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!

Thanks for the reply- do you happen to know a link where I can find a tutorial for actionscript for this type of slide show. I've looked on the web extensively but can't seem to find one that does the fade in and out ect. (I am a beginner when it comes to actionscript)
Thanks
