I have integration in that I can call the pilot number (165) and the TVS answers. I have used the quick setup in hte TVS to do that configuration and all seems fine. Right now that system acts like ti is in Voicemail mode and I need the TVS to answer on the first ring in AA mode. My previous experience is that the TVS sets the phone system up when it does the Quick Setup.

My documentation has given me no clues about what I need to change on the TD1232 to put it into a send all calls to VM mode.

Does anyone have the secret answer?

TIA!

it all depends on what type of lines you have connected to the 12-32 as yet no lines are pointed to the voice mail (165)so it wont answer
have you got the programming software for the 12-32 ??
have you got isdn lines (ie ddi)??or are the lines psdn(analog)..
if the lines are isdn you need to point the ddi to ext 165
if lines are psdn you need to set Dil-1-to N route to 165
but first you need to make sure your v/mail is setup the way you want it

(ie)the quick setup option is a basic setup ...
are you going to use a menu when a caller rings ??

ie..for sales dial 1 ,,for accounts dial 2
if so you would be better off to setup a custom menu
if your menu leads to another menu then you will need 2 x custom menu's you will use hyperterm or procom to connect to the v/mail
try to let us know what you want to happen when a cus rings .....& we will try to help

You're a god . . send.
Thanks. The v-mail setup I've got wired. It was just the td1232 programming that was eluding me. The client bought the system and did not get the programming manual with it.

I don't have the Panasonic software (know where I can get it?) I do have the programmator but I was told that it is a risky product so I don't use it.

Also, thanks for offering to help with the setup - i don't see that too much these days without $$ attached.

I have another question about MOH on only 3 of 8 co lines but i will post it separately.

Thanks!!

i have and still use the programmator softwareat times and feel its ok.. great for cus maby not for installer but the only fault i have found is sometimes it would defult the dss panel and sometimes it would set the dil 1 to 1 N to disable but the second relese seams to have fixed that & i have not found any more problems .....

stay away from the programator it will chomp you if you are
not carefull!!
