I have a KXTD1232 Ver 5 with TVP50 VMX attached.
System works fine.
When a message is left in a mailbox and the subscriber goes to retreive the message it gives the date and time when the message was left + the CLI number.
Customer thought this was a clever feature at first, bu now find it a little tedious having to wait while all the numbers are given out.
Can this CLI information be turned off from this message replay?

Regards.

Have been looking thru installation manual. Cannot find this setting wcid =0

Thanks, Will be visiting site possibly Friday. I will check it via laptop.

sorry meant option 3 system utilitys $ not>
$ Wait for Caller ID (WCID)
Use the WCID command to specify the length of time (in seconds) the VPS must wait for the
Caller ID after the VPS has received the incoming call from the PBX.
If Caller ID is not needed at all, set the waiting time to "0" to accelerate the VPS response to
incoming calls.
Type WCID, then Press RETURN.
$ WCID
WAIT TIME FOR CALLER ID (5 sec) [0-60 sec] : = 0

I'dd try turning message scanning with information
off first( I am using a tvs 75 here so I can not test your
app) because if you are using the tvs to route
calls and you don't have a live attendant
then caller id info on transfered calls will most likely
stop working and that would/may not be good.
