Is it possible to hard reset a TVM50 after a failed restore of System Parameters?
Currently the unit seems to be a restart loop and I have tried an initialise from the mode switch with no luck.

Thanks,

Nick

Ebstarit,try these:

1, Turn off the TVM50.
2, Set the mode switch at the side to 5 (switch 1 and 3 to ON)
3, Turn on the TVM50
4, Confirm that the Run Indicator blinks 5 times. This may take a few minutes. The Alarm Indicator and Run Indicator will first blink
intermittently before the Run Indicator blinks 5 times.
5, Turn off the TVM50
6, Set the mode switch back to 0
7, Turn on TVM50 again

I have tried this and despite waiting for the Run LED to flash five times for over an hour, no joy!

The unit seems to be stuck in a restart loop, with the Alarm and Run LEDs flashing about six times before the loop sarts again.

The TVM is dectected by my PC as a VPS but is never accessibale by the programming software.

Connect TVM to the PBX and observe the Green “run” LED
Default the TVM by setting DIL switches to 5
Press Shutdown button then Reset button on the TVM and wait until the
“RUN” LED flashes in a 5 flash sequence
Reset Switches to O and
Press Shutdown then Reset

Wait until the “RUN”
LED is solid green

Set up AS AA or VM as required and Press Shutdown then Reset again

Finally return all switches to 0 and (you guessed it) Press Shutdown then Reset

Ebstarit, meanmofo's solution is same as mine. Did you try it anyway? What's the status now? I am just curious because I install TVM50 a lot. I might run into this as well later.

Not exactly. I use the shutdown and reset buttons. Not the on/off button.
Oh and hold down the shutdown button for about 2-3secs too
