TV sound problems with Asus DVCR and XP

Since I (clean) installed Windows XP Pro, I have problems with TV sound on my Asus V7100 Combo Deluxe. I mainly hear noise, tv sound is very low. Finetuning the frequency will not improve the sound, i.e. tv-sound gets a bit louder but starts buzzing and the tv-image gets worse.
I installed VIA 4in1 v4.42, ASUS drivers v29.80, Asus WDM drivers, AsusDVCR v2.2. Cable system is PAL Netherlands.
Same drivers and software worked fine with Windows ME

I have exactly the same problem here. With 11.90 capture drivers I finally got to see, tune and capture but it's useless without sound..... HELP us please!
