I have a Sony Viao laptop PCG-GR370 with a 1/8" jack out to video RCA cable to connect to the TV. Always worked great.
I recently had the computer crash so I re-installed Windows XP pro from a real windows disk and not from the proprietary one that came with the computer (I lost the original disk).
Anyway, does anyone know how I can get that computer to recognize that the laptop is hooked up to a TV? Am I missing a driver?
The way it used to work was I would right click on the desktop and go to properties>settings>advanced>monitors and there was a selection for the TV.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Robbie
