I need a tutorial or cbt for Meridian option 11c.

Also, once you log in the terminal there is a hotkey to go into the mail system. I swear it was "ctrl" and "]" but its not. I'm sure someone knows. Please help!

Thanks Senk1s that work. Ok so i went in user administration and change the password for an extension, save and logoff. But the changes didn't take effect. I wonder if there's a delay somewhere? I know I save it because i also change the name of the user. Hmmm... don't know i'll try again in the morning.

did you check to see if the mailbox was disabled. That's the one thing that is most overlooked. Even though you reset the password, make sure the mailbox is enabled.

you can also change the number of attemps that are allowed before the disable, and no the change is complete with the save. as above just tab down to the enable/disable line and arrow it back over to enable.. that's an easy one to miss

fyi, changing the name will not change anything except the dial by name, the spoken name is recorded by the user, and the name on the display in changed in load 90.. change cust 0 name the return down to dn enter the dn return then type the name as you want it to appear and return done to dn for the next name ...another point is i usually out a MB and add it back so the greetings and old msg go away for the new user

and I have a FAM CBT. In fact I have a bunch of CBT's, for Nortel. You don't get any certs from them, but they are good if you are having trouble sleeping.

small correction to JohnPoole's post. You change the name display in LD 95. LD 90 is for BARS.

Janaya, anything would be helpful. I'm not looking for any certs. Just want to avoid calling nortel so they can charge an arm & leg to do a simple tast like reset a password. Let me know how I can get my hands on the cbt. By the way, thanks for the tip the account was disable. Enabled it and work like a charm.

I feel like an idiot for asking all these simple questions but whats load 90, cust 0, ld 95, etc. Are these command you can enter at the switch without logging into the mail server? There's got to be a reference or guide somewhere which explains all these commands.
