I know of no tutorial, but if you don't have the SQL manual, which is a good place to start, get a PDF copy at the IBM home page:

Under the pubs directory, you can view the books available from Informix Press and Barns & Nobel.

The Informix Handbook by Ron Flannery has a good section on SP and triggers. The home page is at

The International Informix Users group, iiug.org, has a repository of free software; Among it they have over a dozen SP examples you can download:
