Tutorial is not working? Need help with buttons.

I found this tutorial on linking buttons --
-- but after I do file/publish preview/html the button doesn't link me to anywhere - it just changes color. I've tried following this tutorial again step by step. Even tried other browsers but the button doesn't go to Yahoo.com as in the tutorial. Am I maybe missing a step? Do I need to move the button elsewhere? Thanks again for the help.
