I have a client who was a very basic callpilot set up. No Auto Attendant just mailboxes. They want thier lines to ring until they get answered by a person all day or while someone is there. When they is noone there, they want it to go to the general mailbox after a few rings. Is there a way to do this manually? Can it be Done with scheduling granted that they are there from 8-5 monday to friday?
Thanks
Mike

I would suggest setting up Ringing Service.
You can configure this to be activated manually or on an automatic scheduled service.

Another option is to assign one of the DN's that has all the lines ringing on it to the General Delivery Mailbox. Don't program any FNA settings on the DN. When they leave the office, press F984 on that DN and it will Forward to VM and land in the GDM.

You could just Ftr4 the Recpt. telephone to the Vmail DN (Ftr 985), if all lines rings on that telephone. But, no chance to answer, immediate GD.
