We are running Impromptu through a Citrix server. When the fish starts swimming it hammers the server as the users screen is constantly refreshing. Is it possible to turn the fish off?

I'm working on Impromptu through Citrix and I have not noticed any performance issues caused by Gill (the fish). Not sure if you can turn him off.

Gill should be stored as 2 pictures somewhere on your computer. imp_activityLeft.bmp and imp_activityRight.bmp: one for each direction. Maybe you could rename them or move them so Impromptu can see them. Not sure if this would cause an error though. Remember too that the mouse pointer also appears as seamless through Citrix. It would stand to reason that the server would also take a hit each time the user moved the mouse around. This doesn't seem right. It sounds like a Citrix issue more then the fish.

The recommended way to turn off the fish is to turn off the Status line display, available under the menu option View | Status Line. This is often done to avoid performance penalties in restricted bandwidth environments, such as Citrix, WTS, or even remote-control applications.
