Turning on "path.HSRP" in the ani server config

Hi,

As I understand it, by default, HSRP path discovery is disable.

i.e

"path.hsrp=off"

in the aniserver.properties file.

I am wondering what the issues are on a large network, if any, by turning this on. Will it understand HSRP traps and protocols and more importantly will it have any adverse effects on a large campus Multi-Switched LAN.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
