I inherited a Lucent Partner phone system and have been working my way at programming it using the manual. I ran into a problem when I tried to turn off the Auto System Answer. This function is only acted on with extension 10 phone. When I try to access the system program by: Function 00; then System Program; then System Program; then #NNN (N=204 or any other program code). After I enter the 2nd number the system beeps at me and does not allow me to enter the third number. This happens to only the commands that must be enetered via extension 10. Any help is deeply appreciated.

Which Partner system do you have, and which Release? Are you sure its a Partner II? Is the manual for a later release than you have?
