I have a rather large h323 network and need to start using extensions in the 1xxx range. No one uses analogs with feature codes so I was going to turn off the spree code to free up 1. Are there any hidden concerns with this. The only thing people use analogs for are fax, conference room phones and modems. The conference room phones use three way conference through hookswitch flash. The attendants don't park calls.

I remember with the old M1 stuff you had to INI the switch for config changes to take place once you changed the switch command line. Is that still the case with CSE? I do have DNIS entries in an IDC table that will overlap the dial plan but I don't think that would matter.

You just change the SPRE, you can't delete it. So, today it's 1, tomorrow it will be 6999 (for example).

You can create feature dial codes in LD57 so essentially, the SPRE would never have to be dialed by a user.
