turning off grid lines

Is there anyway to turn of gridlines on each sheet in a workbook without selecting them first?

e.g.

Dim myWorksheet As Worksheet

Set myWorksheet = Worksheets("sheetName")
myWorksheet.Select
myWorksheet.Application.Windows(1).DisplayGridlines = False

It would appeaar not as displaygridlines is a property of the WINDOW rather than the WORKSHEET


For each ws in thisworkbook.worksheets
ws.activate
activewindow.displaygridlines = false
next
