Turning applications to services 1

Hello

Is there any programs out there that will turn applications that need to be kept running, into services??

Any help will be great

Yes. srvany is included in the Resource Kit for your OS. The instructions are longwinded, but they work if you follow them carefully.

Another option would be to use the Scheduled Tasks and set the application executable to run 'At system startup'. Make sure you start the scheduled task with a user that has sufficient rights to run the app (and allows whatever file reads/writes, etc. to occur).
