I want to turn the monitor off for a couple of seconds!
I know it can be done since Glide3D seems to do it.
Does anyone know how, I cannot find the appropriate API
calls. If you can please tell me how, I'd be very gratefull! [bobafett] BobbaFet [bobafett]

Try

SendMessage(Application.Handle, WM_SYSCOMMAND, SC_MONITORPOWER, 2); //you could also try 0 instead of 2.

To bring it back on, I think its a -1 in place of the 2.

I've dug this out of my old coding archive so there could be an update to it.
